    Ruby Vera Lee was born at Lismore, New South Wales, in 1905.[1] She was the daughter of Frederick Edward Lee and Myra May Boyce.

    She married Henry Ernest Gill in 1922.[2] They had a large family together.

    Ruby died on 15 September 1935 following the birth of stillborn conjoined twin girls.[3] She was buried in the East Lismore Cemetery.[4]

    Vera Lee Brown Holmes (September 21, 1890 – November 19, 1980) was a Canadian-American historian.     Vera Lee Brown, the daughter of Anna Dorothea (née Scovil) and Frank Manson Brown, was born on September 21, 1890 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.[1] She was educated at Netherwood School for Girls and McGill University, the latter of where she got her AB in 1912 and AM in 1913.[1] She later moved to Bryn Mawr College and became a 1914 M. Carey Thomas European Fellow,[1] before returning to McGill to work as a history lecturer from 1916 until 1920.[2]
